School Donations

Dear Parents and Families
School Donations for Term 3 have now been added to school accounts. These were previously named Voluntary School Activity Contributions. We have changed the name to allow for a smoother process when you apply to Inland Revenue for a Tax Rebate.
We ask our parent community for a school donation as it is a crucial part of our school income. We receive an operational grant from the government to cover the costs of running the school but it is not enough to provide the level of learning experiences we want and need to give our students. Your donation, along with funding applications, and fundraising by generous groups such as the PFA, helps supplement the operational grant we receive from the government.
The School Donation request for 2025 is:
Year 9-13 $180.00
Year 7-8 $130.00
Families with 2 or more children get a 50% discount on their 2nd child and so forth.
Please note that this school donation is voluntary. However, we ask that our school community continues to be supportive in contributing the school donation and understand that it is necessary for us.
Payments can be made via Helix or Internet Banking or you may prefer to pop into school and pay cash or Eftpos.
The school donation is tax-deductible. You will be able to claim a third of it back in your tax return. We will provide you with a receipt.
We are aware that for some families payment of the school donation will be a financial challenge. Please contact Anna Louw-Young, Bursar, confidentially if you are in this position.
Additionally we are sure there are families in our school community who would be prepared to donate additional amounts to support our college and the work we do. Again, if you are in this position, please make contact with Anna Louw-Young.
Thank you for continuing to support Trinity.
