Our Year 13 Outdoor Education students recently had the opportunity to experience one of the fastest growing sports in the world, padel, at the new facilities at Logan Park.

On a fresh Winter Wednesday, students had the opportunity to participate in some Padel, a dynamic sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, played on an enclosed court that keeps the ball in play.

Students began by learning the basic rules, scoring system, and tactical principles of padel. They then moved into practice and court awareness as they adapted to the rebound walls and smaller court size.

The session progressed into both singles and doubles gameplay, where students competed in a friendly tournament format.

Padel is recognised globally as one of the fastest growing sports, and experiences like this give students exposure to emerging physical activities that challenge traditional movement skills.

An awesome session was had by all!
