Handball: NZ U20 Women win Trans Tasman Trophy

With 5 players from the Otago region, NZ took a clean sweep at this inaugural tournament.

Coach (ex-pupil) Annalise Wilson is incredibly proud of the team and what they achieved. It was an immense battle but the skill level and team cohesiveness, given the short amount of time the team had together, was incredibly satisfying and very exciting for the future of handball. It is now an Olympic sport, to be included in the 2032 Olympic Games in Australia, so this is great incentive for all our Youth players.

Trinity's own Angie Quinn was named MVP for the tournament and both Angie and Isla Simonsen were amongst the top goal scorers for the series. Congratulations girls, and Annalise!
