Second for Armstrong in Logan Park Road Race

The OSSSA Cross Country Series kicked off in style on Tuesday afternoon this week, with race one of the series being held at Logan Park on a sun-soaked Dunedin day.

Asher Armstrong completed a very strong race in the junior Boys U15 Logan Park road race held in perfect conditions on Tuesday.  Armstrong finished second in a time of 8 minutes 22 seconds in the 2.5km race. Trinity College had the biggest team in years competing for our school which was great. Other results are listed below;

Eli Bungard 10th (8.49), Joseph Chinula 13th (8.49), Oliver Hawkins 26th (10.30), Loken Lemm 27th (11.15).

Junior Girls: Nina Hollis-Pye 25th (10.51), Sophie Waterworth 39th (12.06), Hermoine Sparks 40th (12.44), Alice Bennett 41st (12.54), Harper Bannister 42nd (13.43).

Senior Girls: Abbey Simpson 10th (10.59), Misha Peyroux 11th (11.12). 2.5km Race. 

Senior Boys: Bede Pemberton (23rd) 24.20. 5km Race.
