Celebrating Our Remarkable Readers

To recognise our students' dedication to the year-long Trinity Reading Challenge, the library hosted reading celebration parties for Year 7, 8, and 9 classes over the past two weeks. These events provided a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate their reading progress.

At each celebration, we award two canteen vouchers — one to the student who has completed the most reading challenges, and another to a student chosen for being outstanding in class. The parties have been a lot of fun and a joy to provide for our students.

So far this year, our students have completed 657 Trinity Reading Challenges, totalling an impressive 4,248 books read! That’s an incredible jump of 1,642 more books than this time last year. I think you’ll agree this is an achievement worth celebrating.
