Huge congratulations to Year 13 student Joseph Kelly who has been selected as part of the Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ Young Shakespeare Company 2027 and will perform at the Globe Theatre in London next year.
While taking part in the Otago Regional Shakespeare Festival in Dunedin during Term 1 this year, Joseph was awarded direct entry into the National Shakespeare Schools Production (NSSP). This provided the opportunity to participate in a week-long residential workshop in Wellington during the last school holidays together with about 40 other students from throughout New Zealand.
From here, 24 students were then chosen to represent New Zealand next year in London as part of the NZ Young Shakespeare Company - and Joseph was one of these.
This is an incredible achievement and a fantastic opportunity for Joseph to further develop his dramatic and performance skills. Congratulations, Joseph - Trinity is very proud of you!!
