Year 7 Vision Testing

Dear Parents/Caregivers of Year 7 Ākonga
There will be vision testing here at school for all Year 7 students early next month. The visit is planned for Monday, 8th June, running approximately from 9.15am to interval time.
Attached is an information form explaining what the vision testing involves.
Please note that you only need to return the opt out form sent to you via email if you DO NOT want your child to take part in the free vision test. If you are happy for your child to be tested, you do not need to do anything. There are also hard copies of the opt-out form available for you to fill in at the main school office.
If the school does not receive an opt-out form, it will be taken as consent for your child to participate in the testing. If you are opting out, please just send the form to the school office before the 8th June.
Please also note that if your child already wears glasses or is currently receiving eye care, you do not need to opt out. This will be discussed with each student during the preliminary interview on the day.
