Come and celebrate Māori Language Week in the library.
Te Wiki o te Reo Māori is an annual celebration for all New Zealanders to speak, celebrate and show their support for the Māori language.
The library is excited to offer some fun activities to encourage you to celebrate te reo Māori next week. Take part in our week-long colouring competition, try your hand at weaving putiputi (flowers) on Wednesday and Thursday, and explore our special display of fantastic books by Māori authors. Let's embrace this opportunity and celebrate te reo Māori together.
