Special Character Report: Mary Mother of God

This month we focus on our Lady Mary. Mary did not fully understand God's plan that he had in store for her, however she remained faithful and put her trust in God completely. In our lives we have moments where one can experience anxiety, pressure and doubt, and can also feel worried if the future feels unclear. This can lead us to having a lack of trust in others as well as ourselves. But Mary shows us that having faith comes with having courage.

Having faith isn’t always about feeling sure of ourselves or knowing the final destination. Instead, it is the quiet courage to trust God’s heart when we cannot see His hand. Just as Mary moved forward despite the mystery of her calling, we are reminded that we don’t need to have all the answers to be close to Him. When anxiety makes us doubt our own strength, Mary’s example shows us that our "yes" is enough, and that God will provide the light we need for just the next step. Faith isn't the absence of questions; it is the decision to keep walking with God while we wait for the answers.

Prayer:

Heavenly Mother please give me the courage to say "yes" to You today, even when I am afraid. Help me to remember that faith isn't about knowing everything; it’s about holding Your hand through the unknown. When I feel pressured, give me Your peace. When I lose trust in others or myself, help me to find my strength in You.
