Orienteering Stars Shine

On the 3rd of May, 7th and 21st of June, James Bennett and Annemijn Kelderman participated in the 2026 Otago Orienteering School Series, shining as Trinity students. This series involved navigating three different locations; the Southern Cemetery, Forrester Park and Tonga Park, in the fastest time they possibly could. Competitors did this using only a compass and a map to orientate them to different markers around the course.

Individually, James came home in 1st place, and Annemijn finished the event in 2nd. This resulted in the pair taking out the combined intermediate category in the schools teams division, competing for Trinity Catholic College. Congratulations to both Annemijn and James!
