Outward Bound Scholarship available

If you or your child is aged 16 to 18 years old and are interested in this option, read on!
Due to the generosity of the Otago Community Trust, we are able to offer a scholarship that helps cover much of the cost of this unique experience. This 21 day course is a fantastic opportunity for students. Their feedback is always very positive afterwards. The scholarship is available to Year 12 students. This scholarship is for the September intake- 21 September- 11 October 2026. This would mean missing some of suspended timetable so you would need to sit your exams early.
Attached are the screening guidelines for you to consider before registering your interest. Please note that after the scholarship value of $5400, there is still a cost of $1400 plus the doctor's visit for the medical as well as travel to and from Picton.

If you would like to apply, please email Mrs Mortimer with a letter explaining why you want to participate in this course and what you hope to gain from it. This has a quick turnaround and you must register your interest by 30 July as the chosen person must have their enrolment in by August 7th.
