Sam Marslin lead the charge on the opening day of the Cricket season last Saturday with a very fine knock of 70 off 70 balls. Marslin scored all around the ground and was severe on anything short. Jimmy MacKenzie also scored a very patient 51, and Daniel Thompson a quick fire 23.
Extras also played a big part with 58 wides being bowled by OBHS to take Trinity through to 258 for 9 at the end of their 40 overs.
In reply, OBHS Colts were never really in it and dismissed for 144 in the 32nd over. Isaac Jago the chief destroyer with 3-14, and Thomas McEntyre was tidy behind the stumps with some very good stumpings. We also bowled 23 wides, and this statistic will need to be tidied up before our next match which is Saturday November 1 against LPHS First XI.
