Otago Secondary Schools Cross Country Champs 2026

On Thursday 28th May, Trinity had 7 students competing in the Otago Secondary Schools Cross Country Champs.

Chester Osbourne was outstanding in the Under 14 boys race placing 2nd in a time of 13.48mins over 3km. Also in the Under 14 boys event Eamon Henderson placed 8th in a time of 14.50mins, Paul Bertoli 17th in a time of 15.30mins, and Maksim Masirag 19th in a time of 16.43mins.

Jimmy MacKenzie was 5th in the Under 15 boys race posting a time of 18.56mins over 4km, Tara Webb 10th in the Under 15 girls race with a time of 20.19 over 3km, and Asher Armstrong finished a very credible 5th in a time of 28.53mins in the 6km senior boys race.
