Kavanagh’s Got Talent - A Huge Success!

There were lots of students who auditioned for KGT and the talent level was fantastic.

Students from all year levels participated and there was a huge range of acts from heavy metal to hip hop, karate, comedy, piano playing and lots, lots more. The support from the audiences was wonderful and the day was a real celebration of our students and their willingness to share their talents with the school community - and we all had so much fun!

At the end of each show, the audience got to vote for their favourite act and the winner was given the opportunity to perform at the Cultural Awards that evening. After the voting closed, the heavy metal band Dragon Osbourne (made up of Dragon Winikoff, Jamie Hall, Jayden Deuster-Parker, and Tom Restall) was announced the winner with the runners-up being the junior band Riptide (Callum Westwood, Ola Shittu, Akein Wickramagedara, Sam Peters, and Gabriel Kubala) and duo Anamika Jones and Oliver Lodge.
