YEAR 10 MĀORI STUDIES
Tēnā koutou - Greetings everyone.
Tomorrow, students from Year 10 Māori Studies will be exploring our beautiful city on a tiki tour.
In class, we having been learning about ngā wāhi kainga o Ōtepoti (local places of Dunedin). Ōtepoti has a rich and fascinating history and the students will be visiting Kapukātaumahaka (Mt Cargill), Ōpoho (North East Valley and Baldwin St), Te Rotopāteke (Macandrew Bay), Pukehiki, Tainui, Rākaihatea (St Clair), Puketahi (Andersons Bay) and Toitū (Otago Settlers Museum).
