Squash Success for Bannister

Over the weekend Aria Bannister played No.1 for the Senior Women's Otago squash team at the annual quadrangular event hosted by the Otago Squash Club. The event consisted of teams from the Otago, Southland, Midlands and Canterbury regions. 

It was Aria's first year representing the senior woman's open team, having last year been the No.1 under 19 junior girl at 15 years of age. Aria won two out of her three matches beating the Canterbury and Southland No.1 Women's open players. 

All together, Aria's Otago Team was made up of senior men/woman, masters men/woman, and under 19 boys/girls and they finished 2nd in the competition behind a very strong Canterbury side. Congratulations Aria! Keep up the great work.
